Here in Northern Michigan it is “Maple Syrup Time”. The following recipe taken from the May 2008 edition of Fitness magazine combines some of the best of Northern Michigan.
Cherry Almond Oatmeal
Cook 1/2 cup dry oatmeal with low-fat milk, according to package directions. Add 2 Tbs. dried cherries, 2 Tablespoons almonds and 1 Tablespoon honey or maple syrup.(0) Comments | Post a Comment
